It is said that the most successful leaders use their mind as an ally to help them achieve their goals. In our post on Tuesday, our research revealed the benefits of befriending the body to help support the manifestation process for success. Today, we will examine how the mind also plays an essential role in helping us pursue our passions.
Scientific research confirms that everyone’s mind is capable of an unlimited potential for insight, creativity, and inspiration. However the fact remains that most of us tend to vastly under-use our minds out of habit and/or lack of focus. The good news is that the mind is capable of learning and adapting. Plus, it can renew itself at any time. Deepak Chopra (2015) postulates that this flexibility is reflected in neuroscience research which tells us the functioning of the brain is capable of laying down new neural pathways, as well as healing and regenerating new brain cells. All the brain requires is direct focus of the mind. In other words, when our minds become our close ally, we can overcome self-defeating behavior and thought patterns by intentionally replacing them with self-supporting thoughts and actions (Chopra, 2015). This is a powerful strategy that can help prep the foundation for authentic and meaningful success.
That’s it for this week! Enjoy your weekend!
